Almost as succulent as beef steak, pork steak is great for roasting in the oven or grilling in a skillet. This recipe for pork steak in mustard is a suggestion for preparing specialfood that will make your mouth water. Try and see how tasty and tender this pork steak is!

Ingredients for making pork chops in mustard:

 1 unit of pork steak

 3 cloves of crushed garlic

 3 tablespoons of mustard

 2 tablespoons of melted butter

 1 tablespoon of pepper sauce

 Black pepper

 salt

How to make pork chops in mustard:

The first step in this pork steak recipe is to season the meat. To do this, sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper to taste, mix the mustard with the butter and pepper sauce and rub into the meat all around.

Tip: I recommend you use homemade pepper sauce, which is better. However, you can also use Tabasco or the like.

Place the meat on a greased baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil. Chop the aluminum foil in 3-4 places, so that some moisture can escape, and bake in the oven at 180ºC for 30-35 minutes.

Tip: The indicated time is valid for an 800g pork steak. Reduce or increase the roasting time according to the weight of your steak.

After the indicated time, remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, just to brown. If you want, at this point you can strengthen the seasoning by brushing the meat with more mustard.

Tip: Pay attention to the weather so that the meat doesn't dry too much.
